EFFICIENCY

Water Loop Heat Pump (WLHP) air conditioning systems represent a technologically advanced solution in the field of thermoregulation, both for heating and cooling environments. The peculiarity of these systems lies in the use of autonomous heat pumps, which can operate in both water-air and water-water modes. This technology is based on the interconnectivity of autonomous devices through a closed water circuit which, depending on seasonal needs, acts as a heat source or dissipation system.

This approach allows for high levels of operational simplicity, flexibility of use and energy efficiency. The heart of the system is the water ring, which allows heat exchange between the different units: in winter, the water inside the ring absorbs heat from external sources or from environments that require cooling, and then redistributes it where heating is required; in summer, the process is reversed, with the ring dissipating heat to the outside or to cold water sources, such as groundwater.

Suitable for applications in buildings with differentiated air conditioning needs, such as offices, hotels and shopping centres. The ability to efficiently manage heat recovery through the water loop offers a significant advantage in terms of energy savings and environmental impact, especially in structures with significant thermal load variations between differently exposed areas.

Our MCWD range of the MCW 2.0 series fits into this innovative context. These high-head ductable monobloc units – full inverter – Water/Air in R32 are designed to integrate perfectly with WLHP systems, increasing their performance and sustainability.

MCWD units are ideal for those who require an air conditioning system that combines high-level performance with minimal visual and environmental impact, in line with the needs of modern and sustainable buildings. Their installation flexibility, combined with the ability to adapt to various operating contexts, makes them a cutting-edge solution to address the challenges of contemporary air conditioning.

ENERGY
EFFICIENCY

Using the heat pump principle to transfer heat rather than generate it, resulting in highly efficient operation and significant energy savings compared to traditional systems.

OPERATIONAL
FLEXIBILITY

These systems can easily switch between heating and cooling modes, providing optimal environmental comfort in every season.

EASY
INSTALLATION

The basic infrastructure of a WLHP system, consisting of a closed water loop, reduces the complexity of both installation and maintenance compared to other more complex systems.

REDUCED
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

By using water as the energy transport medium, WLHP systems minimize the use of chemical refrigerants, contributing to the reduction of the ecological footprint.
